Data Center Project Manager

The Data Center Project Manager will oversee data center project objectives from initiation to closing, as well as serve as the single point of contact for client business users with regard to project design, planning and status. The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for the timely and within-budget completion of projects.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration and technical oversight of large/complex projects
  • Provide detailed estimates of assigned projects, document requirements through direct communication as well as interpretation of schematics and drawings
  • Monitor change control, process and procedures for project requests
  • Provide basic CCNA type configuration functions as per client specification
  • Responsible for the coordination of trade, material ordering and delivery schedules to ensure quality installation
  • Liaise with manufacturers in the planning of material availability, product specifications, product reliability and proper installation and maintenance procedures
  • Direct technical personnel on installation practices and provides tech support to Sr. Analysts and support personnel
  • Perform quality assurance and sign off on all projects
  • Communicate with architects, project planners, end users and various vendors on daily basis to ensure that needs, goals and deadlines are being met
  • Perform vendor invoicing/ billing analysis and reconciliation when necessary

Experience & Qualifications:
Candidate must demonstrate superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Interpersonal communications talent is a must.
